The Workshop
This was my first ever assemblage mixed media project, i made it for my dad. Using lots of different items, many of them by tim holtz. All the things you would find in a busy workshop.
Close up, lots of little bottles full of little bits and pieces that one day might be useful.
I added bits of greenery to represent the ivy and flora creeping through the cracks in the old walls of the workshop.
The Beach canvas.
I used texture paste for the rocks, torn paper for the waves, sandpaper for the sand and lots of shells and little bits of drift wood and seaweed collected on beachcoming here in Cornwall.
Button Art Buddleia
12x12 frame. I made this for my mum. Lots and lots of purple buttons all threaded with orange twine like the original buddleia. I then slowly built them up. I used distress inks on the background, lots of die cut butterflies.

Keyholder
Started as MDF, lots of texture added with die cuts and embossing and then painted black. Silver and Gold gilding added to pick up details.
